If you've ever paid someone to help with your immigration paperwork, you've probably asked yourself this:

Canada is introducing new regulations to strengthen oversight of immigration and citizenship consultants, taking effect July 15, 2026.
Minister Lena Metlege Diab announced these reforms to protect applicants from fraud, raising professional standards and emphasizing the governmentâs commitment to integrity.
